| "I learned a lot about art from my dad and one of the most important things he taught me was how to see things as an artist."
Sean Eike, along with his brother, Jonathan, grew up as an artist while working with his father, Don.
After seven years of home schooling with his father and seven years of public school, Sean went on to attend Grand View College where he earned degrees in Fine Art and Graphic Design. He later studied at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in Dover, New Jersey.
Along with his work with Eike Productions which includes murals, a tremendous catalog of graphic art material and promotional work, Sean also does design and production work for a local sign company. He has also provided artwork for the Des Moines Public Library for television programing as well as television advertisement for Dragonfire Comics. Sean has recently lectured at the Science Center of Iowa and will be teaching classes at a seminar sponsored by the Des Moines Art Center and Des Moines Public Schools.
Sean has many interests ranging from working with the comic book industry to being involved with living history events.
